Bradford Children's Trust is seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Supervisor to join our Leaving Care Team. This essential role involves leading and supporting a team of social workers to provide high-quality services to young people transitioning from care to independence in the Bradford area.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to a team of social workers, ensuring they receive the guidance and support needed to deliver effective services to young people leaving care.
Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of interventions and support plans, ensuring they meet statutory requirements and best practice standards.
Case Management: Assist in the management of complex cases, providing expert advice and decision-making support.
Transition Planning: Ensure that robust transition plans are in place for young people, supporting their journey to independence.
Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans as necessary.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective service delivery.Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker: Must be a registered Social Worker with a recognized qualification.
Experience: Substantial experience in children's social work, particularly in leaving care settings.
Supervisory Skills: Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of social workers.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of the needs of young people leaving care, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members and external partners.
