We have been retained by a key client of ours in the fenestration sector to source and secure a Commercial Director. Our client is looking for a proactive and innovative Sales and Marketing Director to establish and deliver on their UK and export sales strategy.
Reporting directly to the Board, you will be responsible for:
* Establishing a cohesive sales and marketing strategy, considering both UK and export markets.
* Establishing a more proactive approach to developing new business and maximising potential from current opportunities.
* Liaising cross functionally in order to achieve buy in and results.
* Train and develop the different sales teams in line with the new strategy.
Currently in a leadership role, you will be experienced in the fenestration industry or building products sector, you will be experienced in selling to the construction industry or trade/installer/fabricator partners. Ideally you will be experienced in technical sales, rather than off the shelf selling. You will be an excellent communicator and will be proactive in your approach. You will be a hands-on strategist and someone who is used to be being the face of a brand or business. Our client is happy to consider established Sales Directors as well as those individuals who are ready for the next step up. It is vital that you have proven ‘new business’ sales strategies that you have implemented previously and can prove how you grew turnover and profitability previously.

You must be able to visit their site in West Yorkshire 1 – 2 days per week
