Position: Social Worker
Salary: £33 per hour
Rotherham Council is seeking a compassionate and skilled Social Worker to join our Adult Localities Team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to support adults in Rotherham, promoting independence, well-being, and ensuring their needs are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for adults in assigned localities.
Providing support, intervention, and advocacy to enhance quality of life and independence.
Collaborating closely with health professionals, support services, and external agencies.
Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and reviews to ensure coordinated care and support.Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with experience in adult services.
Registered with Social Work England (or eligible for registration).
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in adult social care.
Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a person-centred approach to support.Benefits:
