CNC PROGRAMMER TURNER

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to work for our client who are located near to the South Elmsall area ,West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A CNC TURNER:

* Manufacture of components to supplied CAD files and drawings.

* This will encompass setting and operating multi-axis computer numerically controlled machining centre, it would be preferred but not essential if capable to manually setting and operating XYZ, Press Brake and other machines.

* Whenever possible you will be required to set and operate more than one machine.

* Maintain delivery of quality projects to scheduled department/Delivery dates.

* Ensure material stocks are kept in line with company procedures.

* Read, interpret, follow engineering drawings to manufacture precision parts.

* Ensure parts are manufactured to desired tolerances as instructed.

* Writing and proving programs for machines as required.

* Ownership/Identification of all machined parts (Marking/Labelling of parts manufactured)

* Ensure all scrap materials are placed in appropriate recycling/waste bins.

* Knowledge of fanuc is desirable but not essential

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

* Minimum 2 years' experience working within a precision manufacturing background

* CNC Programming skills

* Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS:

You will work shift rotating weekly

Days 6am – 2pm

Afters 2pm – 10pm

Nights may be required 10pm-6am

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of up to £16 per hour depending on experience.

All overtime after 40 hours is paid at x1.3
