About the company
Contechs is recruiting on behalf of its client whose mission is to drive technological advancements within the mobility sector. They are seeking an experienced System Safety Engineer who has a strong background in developing and delivering safe products and services to their customers on a Contract basis. The role will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Job Description
As the System Safety Engineer your main responsibilities are:
Develop Safety Case in compliance with ISO 26262 in vehicle projects.
Perform System Safety Joint Reviews with suppliers in vehicle projects.
Perform and/or support verification reviews of functional safety work products.
Support technical review of concepts and solutions from functional safety perspective.
Support functional safety validation and verification activities in vehicle projects.
Qualifications / Skills required
Several years of experience of working with system/functional safety from the automotive industry.
In-depth knowledge about relevant best practices and standards (for example, ISO 26262).
Knowledge about automotive electrical system, architecture and software.
Meritorious to have good understanding of SOTIF
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent area
