Maintenance Technician - $4,300 Sign-On Bonus Eligible
Job Type: Full-time, hourly
Location: Georgetown, KY – Must be a US Citizen or current green card holder.
General Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on various types of manufacturing machinery, including manual, semi-automatic, and automatic equipment. Key responsibilities include:
Dismantling, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
Reading mechanical blueprints and hydraulic schematics.
Repairing and fabricating components.
PLC programming.
Safely operating a seated forklift.
Programming, setting up, recovering, and diagnosing robots.
Identifying and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Accurately documenting department data and completing required paperwork.
Practicing safe shut down and lockout/tagout procedures.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Skills Required:
Adherence to all safety policies.
Preferably, experience in steel, forging, or manufacturing.
Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of hand tools.
Good communication skills.
Proven problem-solving skills.
Technical knowledge.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to train others as needed.
Team player mentality.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
