Construction Safety Advisor – Data Centre Projects
Location: Paris, France
Salary: DOE (Employed)
Start Date: ASAP
Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Construction Safety Advisor to join their team on Data Centre Projects in Paris, France. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to advise on health and safety processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining safety standards, and resolving issues according to safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a confident H&S Professional, Advisor, and Manager, liaising with senior members of the project team.
* Advise and promote safe work practices, ensuring compliance with up-to-date legislation and regulations.
* Understand and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislations, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
* Deliver the Principal Designer role (under CDM Regulations), if required.
* Provide clear legal advice on all health and safety matters to clients.
* Develop and implement health and safety management systems for client projects.
* Conduct specialist risk assessments.
* Undertake H&S audits and prepare professional reports.
* Focus on business development by leveraging existing networks and exploring new opportunities.
* Support the acquisition of new projects by demonstrating a strong understanding of all services offered and a commitment to our client’s values.
* Develop and deliver training courses for new and existing clients.
* Share knowledge and expertise with other team members to foster a collaborative environment.
* Support internal business functions and processes.
* Achieve 100% completion of monthly KPIs, maintaining high performance standards.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures and perform any reasonable requests from the Directors or management team.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in construction safety advisory roles, particularly on data centre projects.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
* Experience in delivering risk assessments, audits, and safety management systems.
* Excellent communication and advisory skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and senior project teams.
* Business development experience, with the ability to identify and seize new opportunities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
