Job Description
As the Operational Governance and Project Management Manager you will lead a team of high-performing technical project managers responsible for the execution of large-scale, complex projects. You will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects that have a significant impact on Brightspeed’s financial success. Projects managed by this team cover a broad range of topics including network architecture expansion, new technology deployment, and product development. You will work closely with IT, Product, Marketing, and Finance to ensure projects are successfully deployed. This position will report to the Director of Operational Governance and Project Management.

Provides vision, leadership, project oversight, issue resolution, and support to a team of three to five employees. 
Lead by example in creating an environment that fosters open communication, sharing ideas and best practices, and building strong cross-functional relationships.
Creates strategies to achieve business goals such as increasing revenues, driving operational and financial independence, and developing a skilled, motivated, and diverse workforce.
Develops and implements PMO process and policy to drive project management standardization and efficiencies to enable successful execution ensuring achievement of strategic priorities and long-range financial goals.
Works with other department leaders to plan, prioritize, and implement projects and programs.
As Operational Governance and Project Management Manager, you will have the following responsibilities
Leads the Operational Governance and Project Management Team providing oversight, guidance, and support to three to five employees.
Responsible for all aspects of project management duties including delegating tasks, assigning project resources, establishing deadlines, and tracking progress.
Continually monitors project progress to ensures projects stay on track to meet established launch plans, come in under budget, and achieve expected benefits.
Develops and distributes executive status reports, stakeholder communications, and project progress readouts.
Reviews and updates processes and procedures to apply lessons learned and best practices.
 
Leads cross-functional teams comprised of IT, Finance, Business Unit Leaders, and project stakeholders to prioritize Brightspeed growth initiatives.
Produces and publishes the strategic priorities roadmap and facilitates monthly readout.
Coordinates project reviews providing detailed status updates to impacted stakeholders.
Responsible for establishing performance goals that align with Brightspeed’s strategic priorities and drive the achievement of our financial wellbeing.
Provides continuous feedback and coaching that enable employees to achieve their professional goals while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
