Berry Recruitment Darlington are currently recruiting for a full time Sous Chef for a private school within the Barnard Castle area.

The role is temporary ongoing, term time only.

SOUS CHEF - BARNARD CASTLE AREA

Duties of the role include but are not limited to-

- To assist in the preparation an cooking of main meals and buffets for pupils, staff and special functions as required.

- To maintain the highest standards of health, hygiene and safety.

- To ensure waste is controlled with regard to preparation and cooking.

- To follow allergen and dietary procedures as required.

- To actively assist in ensuring a five start food hygiene rating.

Working hours are Monday - Friday, working 9am-5pm and the occasional weekend or late night due to events and parents evenings.

Pay rate - £13.70 per hour, paid weekly in arrears.
