M&E Lead

We are working with a market-leading technical contractor specialising in Data Centres, Advanced Manufacturing, Food, Logistics and Pharmaceuticals. They deliver projects in the UK, Ireland, Mainland Europe, USA and Canada.

THE ROLE

They are looking for an M&E Lead to join their Data Centres team for a project in Slough. The person will be the main point of contact between the developer, the GC and the subcontractors, and will make sure that the project is delivered according to programme. You will be based on-site in Slough with occasional travel to the main office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* The M&E Lead will collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan the M&E aspects of construction projects. This involves understanding project requirements, timelines, and budgets.

* The M&E Lead will build and maintain positive relationships with clients by providing excellent service, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with M&E installations.

* The M&E Lead will collaborate with other trades and stakeholders on the construction site to ensure smooth coordination of M&E activities with other construction activities. This involves attending coordination meetings and resolving conflicts as they arise.

REQUIREMENTS

* Qualification in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

* Experience as Senior Project Manager or Project Director.

* Previous experience of leading construction projects valued £5M or more from an M&E perspective.

* Valid driver’s license
