Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (potentially negotiable for the right person) plus benefits
PCB Assembler Overview
Career Smart are seeking a number of PCB Assemblers, on a permanent basis, for an Electronics Manufacturing company based near Hemel Hempstead. We are looking for candidates with at least 3 years’ experience and awareness of IPC.
Duties/tasks will include:
* PCB Assembly (SMT & PTH)
* Component Forming
* General Housekeeping
* Completing documentation
An IPC-A-610 qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
Experience of working within a similar role or electronics manufacturing environment is vital. At the interview stage they will conduct a PCB assembly test to understand your soldering capability.
PCB Assembly Technician - other skills/knowledge required:
* Able to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM)
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks
* Able to work effectively to deadlines
* Dexterity, good hand and eye coordination
* Must be able to work within a team
