MJM are currently looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to work with us on a self-employed basis, with the opportunity to be employed directly. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.

The ideal candidate will also have experience of mechanical fitting.

The role will predominately be based in Slough, however there may be requirements to work airside at Heathrow.

Applying Welders Fabricators must be eligible to get an airside pass.

Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques
- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal structures accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in welding

- TIG and Arc desirable but not essential

- Must be able / willing to do mechanical fitting.

- 5-year checkable work history

MJM are able to offer 45 hours per week, 9-hour shifts on a self-employed basis.
