Mechanical Design Engineer

My client is an internationally established business whom specialise in engineering services to the marine sector. Due to ongoing demand, they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their established team in Falmouth. The successful Candidate will be mechanically qualified and have experience within a mechanical design position. You must also have a driving licence and be based within commutable distance of Falmouth.

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview

Working within a team of 5, reporting to the Design Manager
Producing mechanical design specifications that minimise cost, improve performance and are innovative
Carrying out surveys
Ensuring that designs are approved by relevant regulatory authorities
Providing technical support & advice
Using AutoCAD and Inventor
Administrative design duties

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements

Mechanical Engineering or similar Bachelor's degree
Experience within a mechanical design position
Able to demonstrate technical writing ability
Ideally proficient with AutoCAD and Inventor
Based within commutable distance of Falmouth

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000
