Our client, a leading, Legal 500 recommended legal firm based in Christchurch, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Solicitor/CILEX Lawyer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute their expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on commercial law matters
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
Conducting legal research and analysis to support client cases
Attending court hearings and representing clients in commercial litigation matters
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective case management
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and industry trends
Upholding ethical standards and ensuring compliance with professional responsibilities
Demonstrating exceptional client service and building strong, long-lasting relationshipsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualifications
Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales or a CILEX Lawyer
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and case law
Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
High degree of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
