An Interior Design Lead job is now available in Bath. The successful candidate will oversee multiple high end residential projects at once whilst mentoring and leading a design team throughout all project stages.

With over 15 years of experience, this design practice has become one of the most trusted and respected in their industry, combining interior architecture, interior design, and project management within one concept-to-completion, fully bespoke service. Thanks to their traditionally luxurious yet relaxed style, the practice is regularly featured in the House and Garden list of 100 leading interior designers.

They are currently looking for an Interior Design Lead to join them on a permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

- Overseeing 6-8 projects at any given time

- Managing, developing and mentoring designers

- Proactively seeking new business and partnership opportunities

- Attending prospective client meeting and pitches

- Defining the design stages into deliverables for the design team at point of proposal and managing the allocated resources to ensure deadlines are completed on time

- Monitoring your team's output at every stage to ensure they include the correct information

- Ensuring consistency of information across each project, adapting deliverables to align with the agreed scope at the start of the project

- Encouraging autonomy and ownership across the team

- Leading client communications and attending all client meetings

- Maintaining oversight of performance for all projects in your team

- Ensuring all key design information is issued, managing the project scope, and keeping the client updated at all times

- Regularly reporting on key KPIs per project.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years' experience within the high end residential and/or hospitality interior design industry

- Proven experience leading teams through all project stages, from concept to installation

- Experience overseeing and managing the interior architecture and FF&E aspects of high end projects

- Ability to set up and manage timelines, budgets and resources

- Excellent client liaison abilities and experience

- Business development experience

- Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
