Night shift QA Coordinator

My client based in Wetherby LS22 have an exciting opportunity for a QA Coordinator to join the QA Team to ensure the Food Safety and Legality of Products manufactured.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• To be the first point of contact for the shift regards food safety, quality and integrity standards, coaching the Shift Teams to make the right decisions and solutions.
• To proactively manage food safety and quality testing and auditing regimes to ensure site compliance.
• Ensure that documentation and records are up to date, accurate and understood.

What my client is looking for?

• A basic understanding of customer codes of practice e.g. allergens, labelling & coding and foreign body detection.
• Experience in use of root cause analysis methods and tools.
• Ability to:
- communicate across all levels
- influence those around them
- manage across all levels
- work under own initiative
• 2+ Years’ QA experience within Food Manufacturing, ideally with both private label and branded product experience.
• Proficient in GMP and Quality Standards.
• Level 3 HACCP
• Level 3 Food Safety
• Auditor qualification
• Recognised allergen qualification
• Recognised microbiology qualification

Working hours:

18:00/6:00 (2on /2off/ 3on shift pattern)
Working every second weekend

This is Permanent Role with Annual salary - £33,537.85.
