Based in the heart of Cardiff, they are a thriving fintech creating asset management equipment finance software for a range of multinational clients, their software is well proven all over Europe.

About the role…
Working closely and successfully with cross functional teams such as BA’s, Stakeholders, engineers and customers to understand the data they are receiving.
Shaping the data engineering team, mentoring and developing junior engineers.
You will help define data strategy whilst designing and build data models.
Managing and leading a team of data engineers whilst providing technical guidance.
You will identify and resolve any data quality issues.
Drive the data transformation models and capabilities.
About you…
You will have strong communication skills.
A deep understanding of data modelling and database design.
You will have strong demonstrable data analytical skills.
You’ll have excellent programming skills such as Python, Java or Scala.
You will have strong leadership skills.
