Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Role Description: As the Health and Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel at our new facility. This is an exciting opportunity to have autonomy and a real impact on shaping the health and safety culture within the organisation. Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving health and safety standards in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols tailored to the specific needs of the Staffordshire site.

* Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.

* Provide expert guidance and support to departmental managers and employees on health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.

* Lead accident and incident investigations, analyse root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience working in a health and safety role within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.

* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.

* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations, and best practices.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
