Purchase Ledger Supervisor

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a national and well recognised business based in the heart of Sheffield that are looking for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their team on a full time & Permanent basis.

This is a newly created role due to the continuous growth the business has experienced over multiple years, and it promises to be a new and exciting challenge for the person coming into the position.

This role will include:
- Repoting to the Group Purchase Ledger Manager helping to manage the efficient running of the Purchase Ledger function
- Processing invoices, statement reconciliations and query handling
- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships
- Ensuring suppliers are paid to agreed terms
- Actively managing supplier disputes
- Conducting regular ledger reviews
- Maintaining all email inboxes
- Taking a lead role in new system and process implementation

Skills and experience required:
- Good Communicator and ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong Excel skills including Pivot tables and VLOOKUPS
- Experience working within a similar supervisory role
- High degree of attention to detail
- Confidence when dealing with senior members of the finance team and wider business.
