Yacht Rigger

SYR are looking for an experienced and competent Rigger, based in Mallorca, Spain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for stepping and commissioning a variety of projects from super yachts to race yachts.
Rigging, sailing, practical maintenance of masts and booms will be your primary tasks in this role.
Working with a team of Project Managers, Riggers, Designers, Contractors and Mast Technicians.
Main Responsibilities
* To keep up to date with all project communication with the ability to provide knowledgeable input when necessary.
* To identify customer needs with all services and products.
* To contribute to the development of technical and practical solutions.
* To be able to communicate effectively with all parties involved within a project.
* To understand project budgets and contribute to the development of project timeline, estimates and proposal.
* To liaise on multiple international projects and stakeholders.
Technical skills
* Around 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Professional sailing experience or working as shore crew.
* Experience with carbon fibre products, mechanical works and understanding of hydraulics/electrical systems will be an advantage.
* University Degree or related.
* Proficiency level of English.
* Full EU Driving license
