Head of Mobile, Square

Job Description
As the Head of Mobile at Square you will lead our expansive mobile efforts, encompassing the development and refinement of iOS and Android applications as well as Square’s embedded operating system (based on Android Open Source) for our Square Terminal and Register devices. This role is pivotal in guiding the direction of Square’s flagship products and ensuring their robust performance and reliability. 
You will:
Lead a team of 400+ software engineers and engineering managers.
Lead the strategic planning and execution of mobile and Square’s in-house devices development projects. 
Drive the integration of advanced mobile technologies and custom hardware solutions into Square’s product lineup.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align mobile development with company objectives. 
Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability within the mobile org.
