Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join our team across Birmingham and surrounding areas based at Kingsbury and be responsible for all aspects of the contract.  These include operational, strategic, and fiscal elements. To work in partnership with the client in developing new strategies, policies & procedures which will improve the overall service on the contract. Role is primarily Monday to Friday but as required it will include on call out of hours roster cover.

Demonstrate contract leadership and provide expertise to the customer
Ensure that security service delivery meets required service level agreements
Provide a strategic continuous improvement program to enhance security services where possible
Collaborate with BBV management team to develop and implement a bespoke security strategy, policies & procedures.
Work alongside the commercial team to ensure that financial commitments of the contract and commercial reporting requirements are met
Provide an effective project wide commination strategy across all levels.
Management of a budget, explaining costs or expenditures, and discussing new terms if necessary
Ensure that all equipment assigned to the projects is managed and maintained with issues escalated and delt with in a timely manner
Ensure all payroll information is accurate for employees engaged on assigned account and that any pay issues are addressed quickly and in keeping with company policy
Oversee the scheduling delivery to ensure that manning levels, charge rates and pay rates are accurate to facilitate the payroll and billing application process
Oversee the formal training of all Security staff engaged by OCS on the account.
Facilitate and lead discipline across the contract, setting standards and promoting good practice. Act as first point of escalation for any direct reports during HR and employee relations issues.
Conduct regular security post checks as party of a self-assurance program to ensure standards are being delivered and influence best practice.
Investigate serious nonconformities across the account and report to client and senior management teams a process for Improving systems and procedures to initiate corrective actions

Administration

Provide and ensure delivery of accurate and timely information for the preparation of reports and planning.
Oversee all contractual cover and extra cover is accurately recorded.
Oversee provision of adequate information for proper personnel administration of employees.
Ensure compliance with legal, Company and contractual obligations at all sites, such as the Data Protection Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, procedures outlined in the Company handbook, Standing Instructions, etc.
Review H&S manuals, Assignment instructions, Risk assessments, method statements and any other site-based paperwork is current and up to date to ensure compliance.
SSSTS Qualified and able to demonstrate experience in delivering comprehensive briefings to a variety of audiences

Health & Safety

Have a good understanding of Health and Safety policies.
Ensure compliance with H&S processes and procedures.
Report immediately to the senior management team any action or inaction which compromises safety.
Ensure that a healthy and safe place of work for all staff assigned to the contract is maintained
Cooperate with Atalian Servest and the Client so that the company can carry out its statutory duty under Health and Safety at work etc. Act 1974 and all relevant statutory provisions.
Conduct and oversea H&S investigations into incidents and accidents concerning our employees

Leadership

To build, develop, lead, and retain a team of focused staff that believe and demonstrate best practice and portray the key values of BBV, HS2 and OCS

Management of recruitment and succession planning to ensure that the team realise their development potential wherever possible.

Proven account / operational management or other relevant experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
