Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal, to address clients' specific needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all equipment and supplies are sanitized and in good working condition
- Conduct client consultations to determine their specific concerns and develop a personalized treatment plan
- Keep accurate records of client information, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide self-care tips for at-home maintenance
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Continuously expand knowledge and skills through attending workshops, seminars, and other educational opportunities
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including maintaining client confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention
Requirements:
- Valid state license to practice massage therapy
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a massage therapist
- Proficient in various massage techniques and modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Professional and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records preferred
