On offer is the chance to continue your career progression, learn new skills and take on a new challenge. Reporting to the engineering director, you will be a key part of the team, bridging the gap between the design team, production and sales teams.

This company have been established for over 100 years, and continue to go from strength to strength. They have plans to continue their recent growth and are currently recruiting across the business. They specialise in the design and manufacture of specialised electrical power applications, and provide to a range of industries, specifically the automotive industry.

In this role you will be responsible for producing detailed drawings, creating BoMs, using 3D packages, working with a range of materials, such as plastic for moulding processes. You will be responsible for conducting FEA/CFD analysis using software such as Ansys. You will also be communicating with other departments to collectively maintain a high quality.

Therefore, the ideal candidate will have a good experience using 3D CAD packages and have a good understanding of FEA/CFD analysis and calculations. Ideally you will have a good knowledge of plastic material and associate processes, and be able to build relationships with a multi-skilled team. Contribute to tolerances and testing, create BoM's, liaise with other departments

Experience in AutoCAD/3D Software
Excellent knowledge of FEA and CFD
Knowledge/Experience with multiple materials, including plastic/molding processes
