Job Title: Hook Loader Driver
Position Overview:
Driver Hire Peterborough are looking for a skilled Hook Loader Driver (RoRo) for a Temp to Perm position. You'll operate hook loader vehicles (8 wheel) to collect and transport waste materials to disposal sites safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate hook loader vehicles to load and transport waste materials.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
* Follow routes and schedules for timely collections and deliveries.
* Ensure waste materials are securely contained during transportation.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Valid UK driving license with Category C entitlement (HGV Class 2)
* In-date CPC and Digi cards.
* A clean driving record, with no more than 6 points and no DR, DD, or IN convictions for insurance purposes.
* Previous experience operating hook loaders.
* Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate -£13.50 ph plus holiday pay (£15.13 ph inclusive)
* Weekly pay
* Minimum 10 hour shifts per day
