Platform Resourcing are currently working with a leading manufacturing business who are based in the Cwmbran area.

They are a leading provider of high-quality engineered products in the process equipment sector. They are now looking to making an appointment for a Quality Inspector within the quality team. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections to verify that our products adhere to specifications and meet customer expectations. Quality Inspector Salary and Benefits

Salary of up to £33,893, inclusive of shift allowance
Yearly pay appraisals
Overtime opportunities paid at 150% and 200%
Hours Monday to Friday 7.00am - 3.00pm

Conduct comprehensive inspections of products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Perform regular inspection duties with precision and attention to detail
Identifying any deviations or defects in the production process.
Provide inspection coverage across various areas of operation, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business needs.
Collaborate effectively with team members to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Demonstrate initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the inspection process.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain a culture of quality excellence.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.Quality Inspector Experience and Qualification Requirements

Completion of an Apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent technical qualification in a relevant field is essential.
Previous experience in inspection or quality control is preferred, with a strong understanding of inspection techniques and procedures.
Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify deviations from specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Proven ability to work independently and make informed decisions, with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
