About the RoleReporting to the Creative Director, Marketing, you as the UX/UI Designer will help drive creative efforts across our entire ecosystem with a special focus on UX & UI. You will think and advocate as one of our users, while having the technical expertise to translate ideas into instructions and collaborative efforts, turning ideas into reality.
This role is on-site, 5 days a week at our West Hollywood location.
Your Responsibilities
Craft the visual experiences users encounter when interacting with applications, websites, and/or video games. Your role will involve designing and implementing all the visual elements that enhance user navigation and engagement on the platform.
Shepherd products from their initial concept to successful launch. Create comprehensive design systems and exceptional visual design skills that seamlessly span across all platforms.
Works autonomously and collaborates well with leads and peers on the design and UX/UI vision, informs roadmap and strategy, and executes implementing designs and systems with cross-functional partners such as the Executive Team, Engineering, Marketing, and Project Management.
Comfortable in the face of ambiguity, moving fast to learn fast, and prioritizing effectively.
Innovates and visualizes new ways of merging content and product; confident in proposing design ideas.
Articulates design vision, approach, and status to cross-functional partners and leads through presenting, prototyping, and design specifications..
Knows how to focus the team with customer-centric insights.
Inspires and aligns the cross-functional team with a design vision. Understanding and communicating the sequencing to achieve that vision.
Scopes design work and negotiates with business and engineering partners to align around milestones and deliverables that are realistic and feasible.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role
Fluency in core design & prototyping tools such as Photoshop, Figma, and Framer. Bonus points if also fluent in Rive, Spline, etc.
Expert-level understanding of designing for web, mobile, and other platforms
Strong understanding of UX flow and UI functional design
Ability to design for Web3/digital collectibles applications
Ability to implement and collaborate with Engineers, without needing to know how to code
Ability to visualize and present UX/UI designs in an interactive format
Ability to implement micro-interactions throughout an experience effectively
Excellent multitasking and time-management skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong organization and prioritizing skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
Must be able to convey design and interactions with developers located overseas who may not speak English
Positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
Knowledge of Hubspot and similar platforms is a plus
The compensation range for this role is $90k to $120k annually, depending on experience.
