Production Operative (Afternoon Shift) Wanted - Apply Now!

Full-time, temporary to permanent.
40-hours per week, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.
Saturdays paid at time and a half.
Bank holidays worked replaced with time off in lieu.
Pay Rate: £12.00 to £12.80 per hour (depending on experience).

(You must have food production experience and be able to communicate in written and verbal English, due to health and safety requirements).

12-week paid trail and training shift pattern is Monday to Friday.
Once training completed, alternative shift patterns could be available to you.
Career Development to Machine Operator positions (with increased hourly rates up to £14 per hour).
Potential of shift pattern changing later in the year, but you will be made aware of any changes well in advance.
Duties:

Working on a busy food production line and warehouse environment.
Using multiple food production machines and processes.
Following written instructions on daily work sheets.
Lifting, carrying, and handling up to 25KG.
Movement of product around factory automation lines.
Quality checking and following precise instructions in a strict health and safety work-based environment.
Wearing PPE gear throughout shift, (gloves, face mask, hair net etc.).
Lots of hand washing due to hygiene and food safety standards.
This opportunity is based between Southampton and Winchester and offers lots of other employee benefits and rewards.

Due to the rural location, working hours, and lack of reliable public transport links, having your own transport is essential if you are travelling from Southampton or live just outside of Winchester, (car, motorbike, scooter required).

If you live in the Winchester area you could travel 30-minutes by electric or push bike to and from work every day, but it will be up and down country roads in all weather conditions.
