My client is currently seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join their growing team in West Sussex. You will be playing a vital role in the business, as you will be located on-site at Haywards Heath and Horsham stores (splitting your week between the two), therefore having your own transport is essential, as you will need to travel between sites.
Duties:
Overseeing the management of 2 stores
Key holder
Dealing with customer enquiries
Training and developing staff
Supporting seasonal recruitment
Inventory management
Regular stock management
Assisting with merchandising and window displays
General administrationPerson Specification:
Previous retail management experience
Excellent customer service skills and business acumen
Professional and personable manner
Able to work under pressure and to timescales
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Positive attitudeHours of work will be Monday to Saturday (38 hours per week) however during peak times you will be required to work additional hours on a Saturday/Sunday but on a rota basis, so flexibility is paramount.
Due to the client's location having your own transport would be beneficial.
