The Role – Maths Lead

Qualiteach are actively recruiting for a qualified and experienced Maths Lead who will be responsible for class teaching and development of numeracy throughout the school. You will also be responsible for communicating to the whole staff on developments in your curriculum area. This post will require the ideal Maths Lead to teach students aged between 7-19 years with Special Educational Needs such as ASD and Complex Needs, planning and delivering lessons that fit the needs of the students. Classes will consist of 8-12 students as well as the additional support of 3-4 teaching assistants per class. Due to the students’ needs, the ideal Maths Lead will need to have experience teaching students with SEN, preferably in an SEN school setting and have good knowledge of the curriculum.

ASD School – Maths Lead

This thriving ASD school is located in Uxbridge, Hillingdon and caters for students aged between 4-19 years old with Special Educational Needs such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The school is very small and has around 210 students therefore, class sizes vary from 8-10 pupils along with 2 teaching assistants in class. This school has good transport links and on-site parking available.
