Data Analyst

Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for semi skilled Data Analyst for one of our prestigious client based in Swindon.

This is a permanent role with salary of £28000 per year.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.

Ideal candidate will have extensive data analyst experience ideally within automotive or semi-conductive background and have good mechanical or electrical understanding.

Main duties of Data Analyst will include:
Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs. Ensure the data is accurate, complete and properly formatted.
Data Analysis: Use statistical techniques and data visualisation tools to explore and analyse large datasets. Identify patterns, trends, and correlations to extract meaningful insights.
Reporting and Presentation: Present analysis findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely using visualisations, dashboards, and reports. Communicate complex data concepts in a way that is easily understandable to non-technical audiences.
Data Modelling and Forecasting: Develop models and algorithms to predict future trends, behaviour, or outcomes based on historical data. Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to build predictive models.
Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the analysis process. Identify and resolve data quality issues or inconsistencies.
Data Visualisation: Create visually appealing and interactive charts, graphs, and dashboards to represent data analysis results. 
Problem-Solving: Identify business problems or challenges and formulate data-driven solutions.
