We are actively looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a higher education institute in the Birmingham area on a permanent basis. In return you will receive hybrid working, flexible working hours, 32 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a pension scheme with a 23.68% employer contribution.
As the Health and Safety Advisor you will be:
Provide high level health, safety and welfare guidance to all management, staff and colleagues
Be involved in the preparation and development of all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the institute is compliant with all current legislation
Conduct investigations when incidents occur and write reports on findings, alongside action plans
Qualifications / Experience:
NEBOSH / IOSH
Experience working in a public sector health and safety team
As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will receive:
£42,000 - £48,000
Hybrid working
Flexible working hours
32 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Pension scheme with 23.68% employer contribution
