Trainee Estimator

My Dudley based Engineering client have a superb opportunity for a Trainee Estimator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's looking to build their career in Engineering with full training provided.

Duties:-

* You will work as part of a close team designing, pricing and selling commercial supply and installation projects

* Assessing project requirements, collecting data, using software to produce calculations, producing cost analysis documents and quotation documents to enable your team to successfully negotiate the sale of projects throughout the UK and abroad.

Key Skills:-

* Desire to pursue a career in Engineering and career minded

* Ambitious, enthusiastic and can-do attitude with a willingness to learn

* No experience is necessary as full training will be given.
Must be proficient in Maths, English, Science and or Design and Technology and to be able to demonstrate this with satisfactory grades at GCSE / A level.

* Excellent IT skills. If you have any experience in MS Office, AutoCad, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop or CRM systems this would be advantageous.

* Ideally hold a driver’s licence

* Willing to travel to sites across UK to assess project specific requirements.

Salary is £23,000 starting, company health insurance, pension & 21 days holiday plus BH and Xmas shutdown (holidays don’t need to be saved for this)

Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am – 2.00pm
