Sales Advisor

Pertemps Stoke are proud to partner with a worldwide leading manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent.

Our client is looking for a Sales Advisor to join their established team, for this role you will be responsible for:
Obtaining and providing up to date, historical parts and assembly prices
Support the sales department with quotations.
Allocate 20% of your time to prospecting for new sales opportunities.
Identify potential clients and initiate contact to introduce the products and services.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the existing capital install base.
Revisit clients within the capital install base and identify upselling or cross selling opportunities.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless follow up on post capital.
Take control of the spare parts business control
Ordering, progress chasing, arranging packaging for all parts.
Completing freight and export documents for shipping
For this Sales Advisor role, you will need:
Previous experience in an engineering environment is desirable.
Knowledge of shipping/logistics and export is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Self-motivated and proactive with a can-do attitude.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Must have a strong focus on business development.
Must have a full UK driving license.

Hours/Days of work: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
Location: Stoke on Trent
Duration: Permanent
