Production Operative

Interaction Recruitment are seeking a Production Operative for our client based in Walsall , Aldridge.

Job Duties

– able to work from diagrams and instructions to complete agreed tasks
– production, in accordance with specifications of insert as applicable
– operate equipment safely and in accordance with all instruction and guidelines, including health and safety
– wear any Personal Protective Equipment supplied as instructed
– follow batch orders
– generally  monitor the work and work practices being undertaken and completed with testing and checking to identify problems
– fix minor issues that may arise with the production line and trouble-shoot when production issues occur
– immediately notify Line Manager when production issues occur that cannot be resolved by you
– participate in the set up of future production lines and procedures
– input data into computer system to record products
– ensure that continuous production is maintained wherever possible
– undertake equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning in accordance with instructions
– maintain accurate process data/records/documentation associated with your work
– carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract requirements and associated systems
– carry out tasks within time limits
– ensure compliance to quality standards,  policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety
– immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line Manager
– contribute towards the smooth running of the team
– responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls
– adhere to all organisation policies and procedures
Working Hours and Days:

- Monday to Friday
