My client is a 4-star hotel based in Whitby that is currently looking for an experienced F&B (Food and Beverage) Manager to join their team. Within regards to the opportunity, they are looking for someone who can work well in a team as well as communicate with both staff and guests.

What does the role entail?

Your role as the F&B Manager will be to lead the hotel team throughout both restaurants food services and room service ensuring key areas of the business are supported and developed. You will be working alongside the rest of the food and beverage teams, covering the staff recruitment, and training, ordering, and invoicing, and to foster up and coming talent. You will oversee all aspects of the restaurant, bar and catering areas, proving a positive work atmosphere and being the voice of the staff for the site . You will also work directly with the Head Grower and kitchen garden team to make sure products are utilised from our wonderful kitchen garden. You will be responsible for ensuring your team delivers the best guest experience and set the highest of standards throughout all services such as breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and everything in between. You will be responsible for all business controls, including (but not limited to) stock, labour, and general expenditure, working to budgets and sales forecasts. Additionally, you will push for strong communication between all sectors and maintain brand standards.

What they are looking for:

The ideal candidate for this F&B manager role will be able to perform the above duties with ease. Experience in Food & Beverage Management is a must, as well as previous experience in hotels. It would be advantageous if you have experience as the manager of a team and being up to date on current customer trends. Above all, you will be a hard-working, flexible, and trustworthy team player, and a natural leader who can step in to support the management and development of all as well.
