Office 365 Specialist/;Lead Engineer - mostly working from home, travel to central Leeds perhaps once every 2/3 months
Role purpose
To provide technical guidance to help drive Office 365 adoption across the Group
Provide SharePoint architectural guidance for existing and future SharePoint Online implementations
Provide BAU technical support to existing Office 365 services specifically SharePoint Online
Be a senior technical escalation point for other Office 365 services such as Exchange and Teams
Provide oversight of Office 365 tenant configuration and reporting
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
* Advise and drive Office 365 adoption throughout the Group including Teams, Power Automate / Power Apps
* Create reusable patterns for implementations
* Ensure that security and compliance standards are maintained across the O365 estate.
Operational Management
* Provide ongoing technical BAU and project support as the O365 SME
* Provide architectural support to projects looking to build on O365 services (SharePoint Online, Forms, Power Automate), including creation of HLD and LLD
* Provide implementation support for projects
* Liaise with areas of the business to assist enabling O365 efficiencies
* Work with other support teams to identify root causes for O365 issues
Governance & Risk
* Ensure all governance controls are maintained and up to date
* Ensure all backups, both data and configuration, are in place and appropriate
Experience & Personal Attributes
Qualifications
* Appropriate vendor certification
Experience and Competencies
* SharePoint Online site design, creation and administration
* Exchange Online configuration and administration
* Microsoft Teams administration and management
* Experience of Power Automate
* Experience of Power BI administration
