Independent Forgings and Alloys (IFA) is one of the UK’s leading independent aerospace and industrial forgers.
We’re now looking for a Human Resources Advisor to support the Human Resources Manager in providing an excellent service on all matters involving the management of people across the site.
This is a HR generalist role where you will gain a very broad introduction to the HR sector! You’ll assist in the recruitment of employees, writing adverts, liaising with agencies, and conducting interviews, and be involved in the induction of new employees, maintaining the starter paperwork and employment contracts. Responsible for absence management, you’ll maintain the business skills matrix and for keeping files and HR systems up to date.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has recently qualified and looking for the first step into Human Resources! You’ll have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:15 - 16:00/16:30 (37 hours per week).
