Quantity Surveyor - Refurbishment
York- Hybrid
Salary £40,000- £50,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Package

We are working with a leading Contractor to recruit an experienced and successful Quantity Surveyor to join their team in York to deliver refurbishment projects, acting as the main contractor under NEC and JCT contracts. You will work across several sectors including Commercial, Residential, Blue Light, Healthcare and more with a focus on safety critical works such as fire risk.

You will take responsibility, ownership, and accountability of the successful management and control of all aspects of the commercial/financial and contractual elements of the works to control and maximise the company's profitability, protect the company's legal and contractual obligations under the contract, and manage all day to day commercial issues.

Quantity Surveyor Key responsibilities:

Managing subcontractor packages
Subcontractor negotiation
Cost value reconciliation
Producing cost reports
Subcontractor payments/processing applications for payments
Valuations
Variations
Final accountsQuantity Surveyor Essential experience:

Degree or other technical qualification
Strong commercial awareness
Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor
Experience delivering refurbishment projects
