We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager who shares our passion for fresh, sustainable seafood and local ingredients to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality service, and consistency in delivering seasonal seafood-focused dishes.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with local fishermen and produce suppliers, ensuring fresh, sustainable seafood and local ingredients are at the core of our menu.
  • Menu Collaboration: Work closely with the head chef to ensure the menu showcases seasonal seafood and locally grown produce, aligning with our sustainability goals.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor staff to deliver outstanding service, emphasizing the importance of fresh seafood and local sourcing.
  • Customer Experience: Provide a memorable guest experience, ensuring customers understand and appreciate the unique story behind our locally sourced seafood and produce.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, cost control, and inventory, with a focus on minimizing waste and maximizing the use of fresh, local ingredients.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met, especially regarding the handling and preparation of fresh seafood.
  • Community Engagement: Promote the restaurant’s commitment to sustainability by participating in community events, seafood festivals, and partnerships with local environmental groups.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role, ideally in a seafood-focused or sustainability-driven restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse staff.
  • Knowledge of local seafood sourcing, sustainable fishing practices, and seasonal produce.
  • Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.
  • Passion for seafood and sustainability, with a deep understanding of local fishing and farming communities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
