We are looking for an independent cook who resonates with our Asian cuisine and has a love for wok dishes.

What will you do?
As an independent cook at i Wok & Go, you will be the driving force of our kitchen! You’ll prepare the most delicious wok dishes according to our guests’ preferences. You will work with the finest, freshest ingredients and collaborate with your colleagues to deliver top-quality dishes. You’ll ensure fast, yet quality service, and will be responsible for lighting the woks, preparing rice, noodles, vegetables, and, of course, tasting and perfecting the dishes.

Additionally, your responsibilities include:

• Organizing your workstation and ensuring a clean and hygienic workspace.
• Guiding the preparation and cooking of meals.
• Monitoring stock levels and requesting new orders.
• Evaluating the quality of ingredients and prepping them.
• Performing interim quality checks and placing orders as needed.
• Adhering to (hygiene) regulations in the kitchen.
• Working with and maintaining our kitchen equipment.

You have a passion for cooking and are a true team player. Of course, you also have a lot of enthusiasm and enjoy the varied work in a bustling restaurant. • You have at least completed a culinary education (MBO level 3) or have equivalent experience.
