Hales Group are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our client's team, based in Hitchin. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to continue their career within the Warehouse industry, and interested in working for a rapidly growing and thriving business. This is a Temp to Perm position.
The hours for the role are Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm
The salary for this position is £23,000 per annum, which will increase to £24,000 per annum after 3 months of service.
Job Duties as a Warehouse Operative:
- General warehouse picking and packing orders
- Helping unload deliveries from DPD
- Boxing up orders
- Stock control
- Stock and data input
- Heavy lifting of items and packages
- Keep warehouse tidy and clean
What's needed as a Warehouse Operative:
- Warehouse experience
- Physically fit, able to lift heavy items and packages
- Interest in a long term role
- Adaptable and flexible
- Team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to input data and take regular stock checks
