A well established geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy based in Cambridge (with multiple offices across the UK) are seeking a driven and experienced geotechnical engineer to join their expanding team. With nearly 50 years of expertise and countless awards demonstrating their reputation in the industry, this consultancy is fully equipped to support a geotechnical engineer through a variety of projects - developing their skills in a supportive environment.

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be provided with:

A top salary (£28,000 - £35,000).

Varied and exciting day-to-day responsibilities and projects to work on.This Geotechnical Engineer position requires focussed work on a variety of ground investigation projects. You'll be carrying out risk assessments, soil and rock logging, supervising drilling, training junior team members and writing factual and interpretative reports. Client liaison and ensuring projects are delivered within budget and deadlines will also be essential.

The successful Geotechnical Engineer will:

Have a degree in geotechnical engineering or geology (or a similar/relevant subject).
Have experience as a geotechnical engineer.
Have exceptional communication skills, ideally with experience leading a team and/or supervising junior members.
Hold a valid UK driving licence.
