Role: Mechanical Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Are you a talented Mechanical Design Engineer? Look no further! Tec Partners Recruitment are seeking a key player to contribute to our clients existing product development and oversee subcontract manufacturing. You'll join them in collaboration of cutting-edge life-science instrumentation, contributing to R&D, and optimizing designs for efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Designing precision/micro level components and assemblies.
Selecting materials, manufacturing processes, and suppliers.
Creating logical assembly drawings for complex sub-assemblies.
Developing test rigs and fixtures for prototyping and testing.

Skills and Experience:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proficient in CAD (Solidworks) for design and assembly.
Experience with different materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
Proactive with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Nice to Haves:

Previous experience in manufacturing, quality, or design engineering.
Interest in Biology, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.
Knowledge or experience with Mechanical, Optical, Microfluidic, Pneumatic, PCB components, and assemblies.
Experience with milling machines, lathes, power tools, and electronic soldering.
Occasional travel may be required.
