Catering Assistant
Salary: National Minimum Wage
Hours: 28 hours per week
Contract: You will be employed on a flexible contract and will be expected to work additional hours. These flexible hours will be agreed by your manager, with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice given prior to any additional hours being worked

About The Role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Café/Front of House Assistant to join our vibrant Land of Oak & Iron Team. Collaborating with a supportive brigade, you’ll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our catering services. Your responsibilities will include front-of-house duties, serving customers, crafting hot beverages, operating the till, and ensuring exceptional customer care. Maintaining consistently high standards of service, hygiene, and health & safety will also be a key focus.
This role demands a positive and adaptable mindset, coupled with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced customer-centric environment. It’s essential to be available for weekend shifts and occasional evening work.
Within this 28-hour per week position, there may be occasions where you’ll be required to step into the role of Catering Supervisor in their absence or during holidays. Should this responsibility be assigned to you, a different hourly rate of pay will apply for those hours.
