Package includes £32,000, includes excellent pension, annual leave of 27 days and incentive scheme
Role Overview: As a Assistand Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our new build and social housing projects. Responsibilities include:
Conducting cost estimates, budgeting, and financial planning for projects.
Managing procurement processes and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitoring project costs and expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Providing regular financial reports and updates to project stakeholders.
Collaborating with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
Conducting risk assessments and implementing strategies to mitigate financial risks.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience working as a Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a focus on new build and social housing projects.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in construction cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
