HSE AND COMPIANCE COORDINATOR
MON – FRI 9AM - 5PM
Up to £30,000 PER ANNUM DOE
KPI Recruiting are working in conjunction with an established company based in Preston, who are looking for a HSE & Compliance Coordinator to join the team.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the HSE Manager, with supporting the day-to-day operations in a hands-on, varied role.
Duties will include:
Monitoring H&S across numerous sites, ensuring a safe working environment is maintained in line with operating standards
Conducting regular H&S inspections and accurately recording - testing of fire safety equipment, instrument calibration, employee lone working procedures etc.
Accident management - ensuring all accidents/near misses are accurately accounted for, documented and actioned accordingly
Ensuring industry specific and general policies are kept up to date, liaising with suppliers and other stakeholders to retrieve required documents (insurances and agreements etc.)
Maintenance of QHSE database
Delivering monthly meetings regarding H&S matters to relevant parties and sites
Assisting with internal and external audits - first point of contact for external auditors to site
Managing and monitoring hygiene standards on site
Supporting HSE Manager with the implementation of new policies and QS
Preparing documentation to analyse figures and reports, to review HSE trends
You will need to have:
Good knowledge of Microsoft programmes
Excellent communicator
IOSH Qualification required
NEBOSH certificate (preferred)
Awareness of BRC standards
Valid UK Driving Licence due to occasional travel to other sites
