Trade Sales Assistant

We are currently seeking a Trade Sales Assistant to join our client's team in the Industrial industry. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of £20,000 to £30,000 per year.

As a Trade Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the internal sales activities of our client's organisation. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with trade partners, generating sales leads, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a sales background who is looking to further develop their skills and contribute to a growing business.

Key responsibilities:

Assist the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly targets by actively promoting products and services to trade partners.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research and networking.
Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions and sales orders.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitors to ensure a competitive advantage.
Attend industry events and trade shows to showcase our client's products and services.

Skills and qualifications:

Previous experience in internal sales or a customer-facing role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for sales.
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
A valid driving licence is required for this role.
