Position: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Warrington, UK

Job Description: As a Quantity Surveyor you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our projects. Working closely with project teams, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost efficiency, and maximizing profitability. Your expertise in quantity surveying and commercial management will be pivotal in driving our projects to success.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
Conduct detailed cost analysis and valuation of work done.
Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and contracts.
Monitor project costs, identify variations, and implement cost control measures.
Prepare and submit accurate monthly cost reports and financial forecasts.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and relevant industry standards.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve commercial and contractual issues.
Provide expert advice on commercial strategies and risk management.
Support the development and implementation of commercial policies and procedures.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, cost estimating software).
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., RICS) is desirable.Why Join Us:
