Our fantastic Homebuilder client is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Receptionist to join their team in York! 🌟

Location: York (Free onsite parking)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing, with the potential to become permanent the right candidate!
Hourly Rate: £12 per hour
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
Skilfully manage a busy switchboard, ensuring all calls are handled professionally and efficiently
Offer a warm and friendly welcome to visitors, creating a positive first impression of the organisation
Handle incoming and outgoing post, meticulously distributing and processing it
Coordinate deliveries and collections with couriers, ensuring smooth operations
Arrange and prepare meeting rooms, including providing refreshments when necessary
Assist in the management of invoices and oversee office orders
Provide valuable support to the Office Manager in facilities administration
Undertake other reception and administrative duties as required.
Skills Required:
Previous experience in a similar reception role
Familiarity with operating a telephone switchboard is advantageous
Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
Exceptional organisational skills, self-motivation, and strong communication abilities
Possess a confident telephone manner and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.
